One of the absolute highlights of our entire Drum Calendar!

What happens when we play together with a shared spirit of joy, interaction and group effort over extended periods of time?

Built around a group that has already spent many hrs playing together in this way, what we get out goes beyond what we put in—unfolding music, interplay and rhythm that takes things to new heights and depths.

In essence—We play, and play, and play and .. well, i won’t give too much away.

Every Drumathon is unique. This is our third and you are invited to join us.

-

Once it starts, the rhythm doesn’t stop.

Drumathon is;

  • A continuous rhythm that carries through the whole day

  • Held by a core group, energised by drop in participants.

  • Born out of our (the core community’s) love of playing together and a desire to challenge ourselves and share.

  • Raising money for charity (International Animal Rescue)

  • Deeply immersive - as the day unfolds the music, by necessity, becomes self generating, dynamic and adaptive.

  • A space for deep listening, celebration and community.

  • Organic, spontaneous and live!

  • A place to also eat, drink and relax together.

No single person is expected or invited to play for 8hrs continuously, we can only do this by collective and collaborative effort, with shared energy and care.
